OUR MISSION
It is the mission of the Columbus Baptist Association to partner with our member churches to help them be spiritually healthy, to be a resource for leadership development and training, and to assist them in their God-given ability to reach a lost and dying world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
WHAT WE DO
We are an association of 52 Southern Baptist Churches located in Columbus County, NC. We partner together to strengthen our churches in outreach, evangelism, and community-wide projects that help to meet needs, both physical and spiritual. Our churches cooperate together while retaining their full autonomy. When God's people work together in unity, we can accomplish much.
OUR COMMUNITY
Columbus County is a rural county, located in Southeastern North Carolina. Our 954 square miles of land is occupied by approximately 51,000 people, all of whom need Jesus. We work to help our churches reach them, as well as reach outside our community to our state, our nation, and around the world with the Gospel.
Columbus County is mostly farm land, with many of the families having lived here most of their lives. Our small piece of God's country allows us to enjoy the small town life and really know our neighbors.

Dave has been married to his wife, Cindy, since 1982. They have 3 daughters and 1 granddaughter. Dave is passionate about helping pastors and churches reach their full potential as Kingdom builders.
Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Teresa Powell has served as our Administrative Assistant since 2014. She is the face of our office and keeps our office running in tip-top shape.
Teresa has been married to her husband, Gary, since 1977. They have 1 daughter, 2 sons, 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. We are so very thankful for Teresa and her love for our churches and for the Lord!!
